Celemet Yener

Celemet is a partner and the office manager of Garth Coates Solicitors. He joined the firm in 2009 and has advised on UK immigration law here for 17 years, making him one of its longest-serving members and a central part of the team.

He is a qualified solicitor whose main focus is business and corporate immigration. He acts for global companies, small and medium-sized businesses and high-net-worth individuals on sponsor licences and sponsor compliance, self-sponsorship, Global Talent and Innovator Founder applications. He also handles family and settlement cases, nationality, human rights claims, appeals and judicial review, so clients whose business and personal matters overlap can stay with one adviser.

As office manager, Celemet keeps the firm running day to day and makes sure every case is handled to the standard the partners expect. Colleagues rely on his experience and judgement, and many clients have worked with him for years as their businesses and families have grown.

He completed his academic and vocational legal training at the University of Westminster and also holds a degree in economics, which is a real advantage in business cases built on accounts, business plans and financial evidence.

Notable cases
